Michael Jackson Died From Drugs?

Speculation continues to loom over Michael Jackson, and his recent death. Is it possible the late great king of pop died from a drug overdose?

Keith Olberman talks with Deepak Chopra about Michael Jackson’s drug use in this video.

Michael Jackson Admits Drug Use In Testimony:

In a story printed on Foxnews.com on Thursday June October 25, 2007, Roger Friedman may have foreshadowed the untimely death of Michael Jackson.

According to Friedman, “The testimony Jackson gave on July 25, 2007, had to do with agreements he signed with former manager Dieter Wiesner.”

Here is some information from the transcript of that trial as provided by Friedman:

“Q Were you impaired by the taking of prescription medications or something else at the time you signed these two documents?
A I could have been.
Q Is that best of recollection, that you signed these while impaired, not knowing what they meant?
A I could maybe say so, but I’m not — I don’t remember them.”

If the king of pop was so far out of whack back in July of ‘07 that he couldn’t even accurately recall the details of how he entered into financial arrangements with his former manager, then perhaps someone should have done something to protect him back then.

It is deeply saddening that this kind of thing may have happened to another king of popular music. Elvis apparently died of a drug overdose, and it’s hard to imagine nobody can do anything to help these celebrities get clean.

Maybe this time around someone will create a foundation to help celebrities get and stay off drugs. I’m sure there is a lot of money set to change hands in the coming years as a result of Michael Jackson’s fame, and perhaps some of the music he didn’t release yet.

Just take a little of that, and put it towards helping people so we can stop losing our greatest performers this way.
